At Zucchetti Village, the Zucchetti Digital Supply Chain kickoff: vision, innovation, and collaboration for the future

Lodi, May 28th, 2026 – The official kickoff of the Zucchetti Digital Supply Chain project took place at the Zucchetti Village in Lodi, a moment of discussion and sharing that involved the various members of the Zucchetti Group involved in the development of solutions dedicated to integrated supply chain management.

The meeting was an important opportunity to present the strategic vision of the project, analyse market challenges and explore the value of an increasingly comprehensive, integrated and business-oriented offer. The day saw the participation of numerous professionals from the commercial, marketing, and technical fields, called upon to contribute to building a common and shared path.

The morning opened with an overview of the market environment and the opportunities facing the digital supply chain world. Subsequently, the Zucchetti Digital Supply Chain project was presented through an in-depth study dedicated to its distinctive characteristics, objectives, and development prospects.

Ample space was also devoted to commercial and marketing aspects, with specific focuses on positioning strategies, offering valorization, and growth opportunities resulting from an increasingly integrated proposal.

Among the main messages that emerged during the meeting, the presence of all the elements necessary to further accelerate business development was highlighted, thanks to an ecosystem of solutions capable of increasingly effectively covering supply chain processes. At the same time, the desirability of strengthening market positioning through a clear, distinctive and recognizable vision was emphasized.

During the afternoon, the discussion continued with two round tables dedicated to Extended solutions and Manufacturing solutions respectively. The discussions encouraged the sharing of different experiences, skills, and perspectives, confirming the value of collaboration between the various stakeholders involved in the project.

The day concluded with a training session dedicated to the Zucchetti commercial network, aimed at consolidating knowledge of the offering and providing concrete tools to accompany companies on their digital transformation journeys.

The kick-off on May 28th represented an important point for a project that looks to the future with ambitious goals. Zucchetti Digital Supply Chain was born with the aim of creating an increasingly complete and integrated suite, capable of accompanying companies along the entire value chain, from planning to production, from logistics to extensive collaboration with customers and suppliers.

A path already started and characterized by a clear direction, which can grow further thanks to the contribution, discussion and active involvement of all the people who are part of it.

    • Dedicated forecasting models
    • Optimization algorithms
    • Simulation systems
    • Predictive maintenance and anomaly detection analytics
    • Logistics and transportation flow optimization
    • Workforce optimization

“The true value of AI emerges when multiple intelligences collaborate with each other,” says Gregorio Piccoli.

    The Role of Generative AI

In this scenario, generative AI does not replace existing systems but plays a coordinating role.

    It is the layer that:

    • Interacts with users in natural language
    • Understands the operational context
    • Orchestrates different models
    • Simplifies technological complexity

A true central direction system that makes Artificial Intelligence accessible even to non-experts.

The 3A Model: Assist, Augment, Automate

Zucchetti’s vision for the Digital Supply Chain is embodied in the 3A model, which defines the proper role of AI in industrial processes.

    Assist
AI supports people in their daily work, offering suggestions and decision support without replacing them.

    Augment
AI transforms data into useful information, generating insights that improve decision quality.

    Automate
Where possible, AI automates repetitive activities, reducing operational workload and increasing efficiency.

How This Vision Translates into Zucchetti’s Digital Supply Chain Offering

This vision is the foundation of Zucchetti’s Digital Supply Chain offering, designed to bring specialized intelligences into different supply chain processes, according to varying data, objectives, and operational contexts.

The goal is to provide companies with the most suitable tools for each process, increasing decision effectiveness and supply chain resilience. From sales forecasting to predictive maintenance and logistics flow optimization, Artificial Intelligence becomes concrete support for daily operations.

“Zucchetti’s Digital Supply Chain offering follows this approach: not a single AI that does everything, but different intelligences designed to specifically support each process of the value chain,” adds Alice Kirchner, Sales Director of Cybertec, a group company specialized in Zucchetti’s Digital Supply Chain solutions.

In this way, Artificial Intelligence is not an end, but a means: a technology that adapts to real processes and everyday decisions.

This is where the supply chain truly becomes digital.
